Ok, so it's not the end of the world, it had to happen sometime (but don't worry, there is more to come with Crazy Stupid Love and The Amazing Spider-Man, she will rise again.) This week Contagion topped the box office raking in $23.1million knocking The Help to number two and letting the Warrior slide in at number three. Starring Matt Damon and Kate Winslet, Contagion is everyone's fear; a disease is rapidly wiping out the human race.
The Inbetweeners Movie racked up a fourth week at top spot in UK Box Office fending off competition from Friends With Benefits which came in at two gaining £1.6 million in its opening weekend.. Jane Eyre came in third and Colombiana at seven.
Someones going to be smug.
What, disappointingly, wasn't in the top ten was A Lonely Place To Die, which you should you watch. Now. Read the review here.
