Unfortunately the movie and television world was hit by two deaths this week. Firstly Oscar winning actor, Cliff Robertson died at 88 in Long Island, New York. His famous roles including playing Uncle Ben in the Spider-man Triology and his Academy Award Winning Charly in the 1968. He also started in films such as The Naked And Dead and Squadron. He will be a sorely missed actor.
And today, Spartacus: Blood And Sand star Andy Whitfield died of an 18 month battle with Non Hodgen's Lymphoma. His wife called him a "beautiful warrior" who died on sunday morning in the arms of his wife. His notable role was acclaimed for his title role within the television series that was violent but a great hit. He was replaced after his diagnosis. A rising star cut down at 36.
