Films To Go See This Week.

Don't know what to do for this weekend? Want to see a film but have exhausted the amount of times you have seen The Inbetweener's? Well, we will have a look at the couple of films that are being released this week that will tantalize your film buds.

Fright Night

Imagine, you are just a regular American teenager. You have a beautiful girlfriend, a slightly crazy best friend and a vampire as a next door neighbour. Wait, what? Exactly, that is what happens to Charley (Anton Yelchin) when bloodthirsy Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves next door, killing victims across town. It is up to Charley, his mom (Toni Collette) and best friend (Christopher Mintz-Plasse aka McLovin,) to destroy Jerry and his evil ways.

A remake of the 1985 film of the same name, Fright Night is that brilliant blend of comedy and horror with fantastic acting that will be perfect.

Apollo 18

Ok so maybe that's not up your street. Well, imagine this; the previously cancelled Apollo 18 shuttle mission actually went but never came back. Set in a mockumentary found footage that tells its secret tale, the astronauts of the flights fin themselves in a horror movie but with no where to scream. The resulting story is the reason (in this reality) that United States has never travelled back to the moon. Spooky stuff.

Even more terrifying is watching this and then realizing that the United States has ended it's shuttle missions now. Maybe there is something they are telling us. Maybe Apollo 18 is true.

The Art of Getting By

So this week's indie flick focusing on the lonely  George (yes, that is  Freddie Highmore, child actors have to grow up sooner or later. I mean Macaulay Culkin turned 31 this week. Yes, 31. ....Anyway...) The film is about shy loner George falling for popular yet complicated Sally. George has glided by school without having done a single day of hard work but soon recognizes a kindred spirit in her and works to get her.

With quirky comedy and indie love, The Art Of Getting By is your new favourite film as long as it isn't extremely popular, you hipster you.

The other movies out this week are British Horror/Comedy Kill List and Bollywood Bol.
