Film and TV News: Ron Howard Denied!

Oh dear, it all seems to have gone belly up for Ron Howard, the director of films such as The Da Vinci Code and A Beautiful Mind. The big dogs at Universal have denied his plan to film The Dark Tower, a book trilogy by Stephen King that consists of a hefty 7 Books, citing that they were only willingly to film one film to "test waters." Unfortunately, one film was not enough for Howard and his team (producer Brian Gazer and writer Akiva Goldsman,) the plan was to film a series of film and a TV series that linked them all together.

Wow, I can kinda see why bosses chose to deny the jigsaw puzzle that was Howard's plan.

Maybe scale it down next time.
