Whats worse than Hollywood's intent on ruin classic films in poorly planned remakes? Taking once loved childhood cartoons and making them films. Children's channel, Nickelodean, had recently done a live action movie of The Fairly Odd Parents (The Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up! Timmy Turner) that has already been aired in America and stars Drake & Josh's Drake Bell. Even with original voice of Cosmo and Wanda (Darran Norris and Susan Blankslee,) there is nothing that could make me not hit my head against the wall about this horrendous re-boot.
Up in the Hollywood rumor mill, there is a plan to create a movie from the popular cartoon Captain Planet. Cartoon Network have contacted producer Don Murphy (Transformers) to translate the blue skinned hero and his Planeteers to the silver screen. Whether this is a feeble attempt to sell a bucket loads of merchandise of Captain Planets message of saving the environment is much needed in this day and age it is unknown.
What I do know, is that my inner child is screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
