Film News: Lamb of God

Diablo Cody, in my opinion anyway, has to more than prove herself. While Juno was by far a genius screenplay that had all the right wit and emotion, Jennifer's Body disappointed. With Young Adult coming up, Cody has much to prove to her audiences that she is not a one hit wonder.

In recent news, Cody is now leaping over to directing with religious comedy Lamb Of God, in which a woman lose her faith after an brain crash and she decides to head to Vegas to lead a sinful life that she has been warned against. But as she arrives, she finds that it was all a plan to lead her to a righteous path again. Cody is calling this hit "a Christmas story" and is set to hit our screens December 2012.

Rumored to be staring in this film as one of the lead is Russell Brand although we cant be certain what role he will be playing. Although, over at Playlist they dug out a few roles such as a pimp and a drug dealer so Brand will certainly be in his element.

 No word on the female lead although I am certain Ellen Page is a great contender (not that I'm complaining.)
